______A system approach: theory

______Probably you heard about «butterfly effect»: the wave of its wings in Miami can call the strongest hailstones in Beijing. Today our actions directly call much more long-term consequences, than in the past. And rate of such interactions continues to accrue. For this reason the system thinking has much value for our time, than any another.

______System - this is something that as a result of the interaction of its parts, its existence and functioning as a whole. Great example - our body. It consists of many different organs, and each acting separately, but they all work together and each affects all others.

______System approach is method which allows us to see and understand sense and law in observable sequences — patterns of events so we can be prepared for the future and in certain degree to affect it.

______The system thinking is turned to whole and to its parts, and also to communications between parts. It studies whole to understand parts. It is opposite to reductionism, i.e. to representation about whole as about the sum of parts making it. The set of the parts not connected among themselves doesn't form system. This simply chaotic heap.

______Where look — everywhere systems. You study molecules, cells, plants, animals as systems, but also consist of cells which form systems of bodies under control of nervous system. You — part of family system which, in turn, is part of any residential area, and it in aggregate with other residential areas forms city, region and the country. All is quite independent systems which simultaneously represent parts of bigger system. The planet Earth can be considered as system, as part of Solar system, as part of the Galaxy and even by the Universe.

______We use "system" word, without thinking of that they "are twisted" in everything that we do. It is necessary to understand, how systems work to have on them more influences and to make the life better.
